Everything you need to know about Ironman’s triathlon

What is Ironman’s triathlon?

At the end of the 180 Kilometer biking distance, the participants prep for the last stretch at transition area 2 and jump into the Ironman's third stage, the marathon (42.2km).
How long does it take to finish an Ironman race?
Top professional athletes can complete the Ironman race in under eight hours for men and nine hours for women. However, it's true that for amateurs, those timings are difficult to complete.
That's why non-professional athletes have separate time categories. While the overall cut-off time is generally 17 hours, anything around 13 to 14 hours is fine for adults in the 30 to 35 age group.
